Orlando FL fishing, should be on every vacationers list to the Orlando Florida area. Fishing in orlando is simply awesome. Come try Orlando FL fishing this summer while your here and experience some incredible fishing just minutes from Walt Disney World. This past week we have had endless shots at fish like Sea Trout, Redfish, Black drum and Tarpon. This is the time of the year when huge Reds come up onto the flat to feed on various foods for the approaching fall. One in particular is the finger mullet. Mullet gather in huge numbers in the lagoon just before heading offshore (known as the fall mullet run) through the main inlets up and down or coast. Once they start to move the fishing just gets better and better. Orlando Fl fishing starts to get extremely busy as the end of summer approaches and vacations start to wrap up. It’s very important to pre book well in advance to insure you get that date locked in.
The past month has been crazy here in Orlando and I have just not been able to find the time to sit down and write a report… I do apologize!
Last week was some amazing Black Drum action. Most days we got into a school of 50 to 75 fish eating live shrimp. The fish are in the 8 to 10 pound range on average.
This week the Sea Trout bite was ON FIRE!!!
I started the day out very early using Pig Fish under popping corks on the edges of the drop offs and sand bars. It doesn’t take long to figure out if theres any trout around… as soon as the fish hit the water it’s fish on!
The Red fishing is great as well. The schools are big and the fish are bigger. Most are from 40 to 50 inches long and slamming live baits.
All of the pictures and Video are from the past weeks fishing charters and is what we will be targeting on your Orlando FL fishing trip.
